So, I’ll say this again: I, a minimum wage public library worker who lives alone and pays all my own bills, will not ever be able to afford to attend a con, let alone pay for ops, a room, or merch… oh or a way there since I live in the middle of nowhere. I am HAPPY for those who get the chance to go, even the ones who have gone hundreds of times. Good for you. I hope you get to go until they stop doing it, honestly. I just get sad sometimes because I’d love nothing more than to get a hug from my faves and have something to remember them by, but it’s not a possibility for some people and it does hurt something deep within me. I just want to let others know that are like me, that you are not alone and I’m very sorry. I hope you the chance one day, but if you don’t get to like I won’t, I’m sending you air hugs. You’re allowed to be sad about it and it doesn’t make you any less of a fan than the ones who are there every weekend.
