I don't understand all the 'outrage' over the steam release with #tarkov. Getting Tarkov on Steam does not matter in any way I can see. There are zero benefits to having your game on steam. It's just another trophy in people's library, nothing more. I'd bet that steam just opens the launcher... Nothing will change other than you'll have to have steam running in the background. Most of these people are probably just pissed cause all they were all giddy with excitement to review bomb the game... It all strikes me as nothing more than noise by people who hate on BSG for absolutely everything.

@RiloeGaming @NoiceGuy_ The game is on a proprietary launcher that was created for the beta. The game isn't a full release elsewhere and coming to Steam therefore you shouldn't pay for the game again. IMO the launcher should be retired and everyone ported to steam or epic.

@NoiceGuy_ I've never seen a paid game allow you to just get another copy on a different platform for free If you buy a game on Epic or EA or Blizzard app, you need to buy them on Steam too I think it's weird Tarkov people even find this odd lol

The current talk of the town: You must purchase an edition of #EscapefromTarkov on Steam in order to play it through Steam. Then your account from the launcher can be switched over. I've asked about a version on steam for like $1 that allows that transfer to happen.

@stankRat_ The shittiest thing about the event is the amount of gate keepers trying to grief the labyrinth door. And honestly the only way the majority of the community can play the labryinth is to rat it. Love ya stank. The rats have won. Tarkov is more about griefing others now 100%

Escape from Tarkov’s Labyrinth event has revitalized their potential with so many long standing veterans of the game; the hook that captured many of us years ago, a hook not forgotten but utterly motionless - rotting, has finally struck, once again deepening its hold on us all. I really hope BSG recognizes the potential with this type of content and continues to develop and enhance Tarkov’s end-game. Whether it be rotating “hot maps” with loot greatly turned up along with a 100% boss spawn for the map associated, or unique and novel high risk-reward areas, like the Labyrinth. I would like to see more areas like the Labyrinth, different in design of course, with entrances across all of Tarkov. Events like this, where the player is actively increasing tension throughout the raid, and is greatly rewarded for their success, is the recipe that has gotten us all hooked on Tarkov. One solid raid will pay for the many failures. Many of us may not realize, but that’s what brings us back to Tarkov; it’s not necessarily the gunplay and map design, etc., although, these are essential components and probably what first got us into the game, but it’s that dopamine-serotonin release we get after finally extracting - juiced out of our mind, in an adrenaline induced raid cultivated by the many deaths prior. I’m not saying this event is perfect, but they’re cooking for sure with this one. Also, I couldn’t help but notice all the W-key abandoners inside labrys; all you wannabe chads got real slow and ratty all of a sudden when the risk-reward factor got turned up tenfold lmao hypocrites.

@tarkov Good work on pushing back when scavs spawn in. 20 min seems like the sweet spot but I'm glad you're monitoring how this change impacts the game
