Back in 2016 I cofounded Spirit League of North Carolina, a basketball program for young people with special needs. Last night we played our third halftime in Reynolds Coliseum. As a proud alum it brings tears to my eyes the way @PackAthletics supports our athletes and program.

@barstoolsports I like how dude said the break from NCSU was mischaracterized while offering no supporting evidence and then proceeding to take a cheap shot as he assumes a not so new coaching role where he was previously fired for cheating. I think Will Wade has a future in politics tbh.

@PackChat1887 @RCorySmith Out of the 3 candidates interviewed, I think he was the best choice. The major concern for me is if it turns into a Keatts esque tenure with way more NIL commitment now than ever given to Keatts, then the decision to fire Keatts will continue to look worse every year.

I think there’s a ton of factors in this: #1 LSU $$ #2 Wade underestimated ACC/Triangle difficulty and level of fan attention(scrutiny) that he doesn’t have to deal w/at LSU #3 some small missteps from admin(buyout, not getting ahead of this story)

Wade basically used NC State as an insurance policy as he waited for LSU to open. Posed like Jimmy V, called this the best job he’s had, reiterated publicly that he was locked in. And then threw the program away like a used napkin when he was done Crazy
