@hdpnglobal @JMoorephysio Is there somewhere that I can get more information about the learning outcomes and content covered in the course? Thanks in advance.

There is a need to reconceptualise our understanding of hamstring injury risk beyond just hamstring strength. Previous history and age are significant while sporting and individual factors (incl. strength, run mech, HSR exposure) contribute to risk profile.

Want to be a better physio? Work with better S&Cs, sports scientists and coaches. Limitations are generally perpetuated within a profession (confirmation and conformity bias etc..) while break throughs are more likely to come from outside it.

@OSTRyan It may be a challenge for some but also an opportunity for others. Difficult to prescribe appropriate sports rehab if you aren't willing to put time into understand the sport.

@camdyer_physio I think that’s where some difficulty lies in trying to teach students about RTP stages. If they don’t understand/want to understand the sport, then they may never see the crossover between sprts rehab and coaching

@OSTRyan Definitely. The more you see quality sports rehab in practice the more it looks like good training. The best sports rehab practitioners have an understanding of both skillsets.
