Are there any states that actually come after people for billable hours for their public defender?

When prosecutors are willing to promptly try and win cases, public defenders become more willing to settle.
But if dragging it out three years means a go home offer the morning of trial, they'll do that.

Regardless of the outcome Jake Paul got into the ring with an Olympic gold medalist & former heavyweight world champion & tried his best until the very end. You have to give that man his respect now… he’s done what most would never & he didn’t give up. Well done Jake.

One of the greatest lessons I learned from my mom is the “do nothing” approach. Unsure of the next move? Do nothing. Not enough info? Do nothing. Complex, high drama situation? Say nothing. A lot of mask off moments are errors of thinking there needs to be a move when it’s really just smart to wait and see. Turn another card. Silence is powerful. All is revealed in time.
