@WeeFlowerLass Absolutely. The Goodies were on at 6pm and then Doctor Who at 6.30pm Monday to Friday. Those four Doctor Who episodes were always one story arc too.

Does anyone else remember how in the 70s Dr Who was shown in Australia for about 15-20 minutes a day four days a week? (Trying to settle a discussion with a younger friend.)

They even have 6 Winter Olympic Gold medalists, when it doesn't snow in Australia. On top of all that, they have produced no 1 players in Golf and Formula 1. And the best part is, the achievements listed above are in sports that aren't even their most popular sports. Their no 1 sport is Aussie Rules Football which is played only in Australia. I don't think there is any other country in the world, that has such diversified sporting achievements. And all was done with a population which less than one Indian city.
