the most frustrating thing about every proposed republican cut to social programs is it saves literally no money in the conext of total federal spending. just destroying basic needs for almost nothing

He's not a moderate, he is actually incredibly progressive. The thing is progressive policies (particularly economic ones ) are actually pretty popular among moderate voters when their introduction to them isn't Republicans and Fox News screeching about communism
PinkUnicorn80@PinkUnicorn80_

Talarico was so popular because he spoke to the middle of both parties. He is as close to a moderate as I have seen in a long time, with common sense policies and the ability to reach both sides of the isle. The American people are tired of extremes, which is why I think there is a good chance we see Talarico running for President sometime within the next decade.

This is the interview Donald Trump didn’t want you to see. His FCC refused to air my interview with Stephen Colbert. Trump is worried we’re about to flip Texas.

Anyone else noticing way more ads on here than even a few weeks ago? At times it’s literally every fourth or fifth post. A feed with 25% ads! And they’re all so shitty too

In a week we’re going to see MAGA get angrier at Green Day and Bad Bunny performing at the Super Bowl than at the President for being a pedophile

🚨CAUGHT ON TAPE: a clip going viral shows Greg Bovino’s orders to ICE agents in Minnesota, saying “this is OUR fucking city” - and pushing mass arrests. He promises “trailers of that shit,” meaning tear gas. This is why people are dead. Share this everywhere. #ICEoffOurStreets

You’ll say something on here like ‘ I think working class people deserve to have nice, enjoyable lives even if it means wealthy people don’t get any wealthier’ and you’ll get working class people responding like ‘actually you’re wrong and should die’.

This has been pissing me off. We’ve just let the right say “don’t protest” to frame these victims as agitators. They weren’t protesting! They were living their lives and saw disruption and stopped to legally observe it.
Lydia Kauppi@lydiakauppi

“Why would someone show up to a protest with a gun?” He wasn’t at a protest. He was doing his normal life and then ICE showed up and turned the scene upside down in a matter of seconds. This is how we all live now. Whatever we carry we are potentially “bringing to a protest”
