Today is my first day at the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
I was detained in Orban’s Hungary for over 15 months, where my fundamental rights were not guaranteed because of my political beliefs as an antifascist.
If I am here now, it’s thanks to all the people who have supported me by voting and engaging in the campaign for my liberation and the freedom of all antifas.
I am so grateful to all of you, let’s continue to fight together.
I strongly believe that if we want to overcome the economic, social, and ecological crisis, Europe and the entire world must embrace the values of solidarity and equality.
To bring about this change, we must rely on the beautiful energy and collective strength of social movements and of all those who hope and fight for a better world.
May solidarity be the guiding light of Europe!
