Alright I tested this on Glosso, a small social media platform made up of adults with permanent account bans on the line (instead of death). Almost a thousand people voted.

I dated a girl like this briefly in 2021. I once mentioned moving somewhere where homes were cheaper and starting a family and she flipped out at the thought of losing her rent controlled apartment. I have a family now and she still has her apartment. She takes nice vacations and gets plastic surgery though.

Spent quite a few research internships in some of "those countries." Most of the time felt safe around campus. Outside was not always "fun," but even my female colleagues got around well. Most issues occurred due to a lack of local organization, due to no real established program. This should change now.
Overall, a net positive experience I can only recommend. Doing Erasmus or any other exchange programs really changes perspective and strengthens the craft being pursued.

Also, will this mean also for the EU country members to pay ''security improvement'' funds to these countries so our students can safely travel there, or, is it as it looks like: an ''unofficially unilateral'' agreement so only their citizens can get access to our European education and student services (grants, housing, etc)?

What is going to happen to all these young men who base their entire self worth and identity on 'looking pretty'. This identity has a shelf life. It gets increasingly hard to sustain after 30, it becomes quite embarrassing and humiliating after 40, and lets not speak of after 50.
Will they have the money they will need for all the continuing plastic surgery? Will they have the emotional resilience to find a new identity? I think there are certainly interesting times ahead for this generation.
