@avappleyard Agreed, definitely would feel more comfortable with that. I guess the jury is still out on the Briere-era drafting but it seems like top-4 would make the choice easier for them

@cap_marmot They are in 4th now if season finished! I would be very happy with pick 3-4... 5-6 worries me more as more chance they reach on a player for position or archetype.

@avappleyard Given that the most likely lottery outcome is picking one spot later than their final position, it would be nice if they managed to drop to 4th place.

@NHLFlyers Ofc can change quickly if one team below wins 2-3 games in a row though... or Flyers themselves go on a run. But as it stands right now? 7th is by far most likely pick for @NHLFlyers... Finish 5-9-3? Likely pick 7th. Finish 8-6-3? Likely pick 7th. Ofc anything inbetween too.

What do @NHLFlyers need for play-offs right now? To have 50:50 chance? Probably 92 points. Which is... 14-1-2 (.882) So yeh, last couple of games are basically the end of any remote chance they had. To pick outside top 10 at this point? 10-3-4 (.706) likely needed. #Flyers
