Woke up this morning struggling with worldly dissatisfaction and discontent and a general spiritual frustration and unease in my soul. It was a mood that was not of God and was not healthy spiritually. So I battled it with gratitude - started thanking Him for the birds I could hear singing (I love birds so much!), then for the trees, then for the fact that I had been given another day of life. Prayed for my boys, had a small spat with hubs (natch), resolved it (after 36 years you don’t give too much weight to these things), had a phone meeting that could have gone off the rails but ended up on a very positive note. Feeling much better. Thank you Jesus. If your Monday started off badly, start with the birds and work your way back to Him.

No matter how dark it gets I promise you it does get better as long as you put in the work don't quit show up everyday At the lowest point in my life my fiance had cheated on me best friend committed suicide around that same time, my mental health went down the drain went homeless and felt like at times there was no light at the end of the tunnel It was rough But I kept believing kept God close and now I am where I am today living my dreams Do not ever make a permanent decision based on temporary feelings problems you experience There is a better life for you I promise Stay strong keep fighting no matter what

@tradertheory To detach from screen profits. your trading account is not your bank account, it's numbers on a screen until the money lands in your bank account. Create the habit of cashing out consistently, ideally every week and start again 🔃 Always take profits.

@AtifHussainOG Happened last night on NQ. Wicked into a bearish 4H gap at 20:15 ET. Formed a 5m FVG in opposite direction. Ran to previous day low.

Full Trading Strategy for September: 1) Target Liquidity on the 4H chart. This is your bias. 2) Wait for a 5 min liquidity sweep during Asia/London/New York. 3) Wait for a new 5 min FVG to form in the bias direction. 4) Enter on that FVG. 5) Target a 3RR. Done.

@TradingComposur I'm was there yesterday. Tired of losing week after week. Seems every trade I take reverses immediately after I enter. $400 from losing an eval.Frustration after 2.5 years of no consistency. I was ready to give up.

A trader must reach a point of no return. It's a point beyond which they've invested so much financially, emotionally, personally that quitting isn't an option anymore. I feel this point has to be reached before the real learning begins and progress starts to accelerate.

@AtifHussainOG This is me up and down. It's sad, I would find that "perfect strategy" on Friday. Spend all weekend back testing. First trade on Monday would be a loser. Then I spend the rest of the week looking for another strategy. Rinse and repeat for weeks.

I used to be a strategy hopper. I couldn't accept losing. Every new strategy felt like it would be the one. It never was. Backtest -> Go live -> Lose a few trades -> Change model This kept me unprofitable for YEARS. You need to pick one strategy. And then MASTER it.

I gave my dad a kidney 7 years earlier and he was in his final moments in life. I wanted to get him to laugh one final time. I said dad, I need to tell you something and it’s very important. After a long pause I said, after you die I’m gonna need that kidney back! It worked.

Once you have your edge, STOP watching trading videos. Unfollow every trader including me :( It's sad but necessary. The worst thing you can do is to get distracted by other traders and change strategies.

@BoipeloHobyana @tradermike1234 I feel the same way. I've heard from trading psychology videos is that if we aren't consistent in our life it will show up in our trading. If we say we are going to do things in our real life, but don't do them. How do we expect to be consistent in trading too.

Deep psychology lesson But this is why you lose money This is why you stay losing money Read all of this and we will uncover your problem You stay in this loop of destructive mistakes because you are comfortable there On a conscious level you may say you want to be disciplined You want financial freedom You want to retire your fam But on an unconscious level you are not ready You may think "what do you mean im not ready I don't like losing money Mike" It goes deeper than that That is your comfort zone Everything we do revolves around feelings You are addicted to a feeling You stay unprofitable because you are use to that feeling and it is predictable You say you want to be consistent but you are afraid That is the unknown And when you are met with new emotions after being in this loop of destruction for so long your brain is confused It's outside your comfort zone You have built these patterns in your brain to predict a certain outcome so when you are met with something out of the ordinary that is when alot of you sabotage I know you have been in that place where you are doing so good so consistent and then you just throw it all away and then you look up and think "wtf did I do" You went on autopilot You have a program in your brain that took over a certain set of patterns that you reverted to That feeling I was talking about Familiar misery You hate it but at the same time you are comfortable there and would rather stay there then venture into the unknown because on an unconscious level you think "that isn't me" but that is a lie you tell yourself That lower nature that degen we call it It takes about a month to develop those new patterns in your brain So the beginning is going to be the hardest But once you get over that hurdle it becomes easier You need to be mindful You need to be aware of the issue and that is the point of this post because when you are aware it can not manipulate you from the dark anymore You shine a flashlight on it It will be uncomfortable But it will be worth it Redirect focus consistently again again and again And it will happen You will break through that wall Consistency is the most powerful force on earth Done long enough your brain will rewire And you will be thinking like a winner And the results will follow

@tradermike1234 "You say you want to be consistent but you are afraid That is the unknown" This creeps into my mind constantly. Afraid that I'll begin to be consistent, but will not able to keep it going. The effort i wrongly imagine will be hard to maintain.
