Since the main aim of the reform is to boost the economy by the introduction of digital skills, and the like, couldn't the program simply be conducted online, with an assessment at the end, rather than risking people's lives during this period of insecurity and poor road networks

@TrendingEx @CitizenMonitors 😂If they are introducing digital skills, entrepreneurial skills, and the like, can't the program just be conducted online and have an assessment exercise at the end, rather than risking one's life during this period of insecurity and poor road networks?

To every dad out there: thank you for all that you do, even the things that often go unnoticed. 💙

“I love you, Dad.” Not a phrase many fathers hear often enough. It shouldn't become a forgotten expression. If you're lucky to still have your dad around, take a moment and say it today. Sometimes, the words we assume are understood are the ones that need to be spoken the most.

Strength is cultivating wholeness. Physical vitality. Mental clarity. Emotional maturity. Spiritual depth. Because the strongest men are not those who merely withstand life's pressures. They are those who remain whole in the midst of them. #MensMentalHealthAwareness #Wellbeing

Success means little if the person achieving it is falling apart. Strength is not suppressing emotions. Strength is not constant sacrifice. Strength is not endless endurance.

Whether as fathers, sons, brothers, husbands, friends, colleagues, or partners, the men around us carry responsibilities that are not always visible. A simple check-in, a listening ear, or a safe conversation can make a meaningful difference. Because silence doesn't heal.

Strength isn’t suffering alone. 🗣️ Men need safe spaces to speak 🤝 Men need support ❤️ Men need care Silence should never cost a life. Let’s build a culture where men can speak, seek help, and heal without stigma. Check on the men around you, it could save a life. 💙

💙 MEN’S MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH Behind every statistic is a man who needed support. In a Nigerian study, 80.6% of reported suicide victims were men (Oyetunji et al., 2021). Too many men are suffering in silence.

@Constituted_Law @Deethevan Any culture would feel the same way if someone accepted a responsibility and later refused to fulfill it because of personal beliefs or cultural differences. It's simply better not to accept the responsibility in the first place. No be something wey go far, bro.♥️

@Constituted_Law @Deethevan But choosing to be among the groomsmen and then refusing to do what the occasion requires is disrespectful. It's your friend's day; it's not about you. If you can't compromise, then don't take up the role.

Had a friend who was Igbo, I was the only Yoruba amongst the grooms men, others were Igbo. Bro married a Yoruba lady from Oyo whose dad is a chief with two kings in attendance. I was the only one who prostrated with him, others stood apart and were watching. Emptied my pocket for the Alaga folks as no one else were interested in the whole process. PS: We were all in our white agbada oooo. It was that day I understand the concept of “Cross Cultural Wedding” from a different perspective. My advice: You are free to uphold your beliefs and culture, but don’t do cross cultural unions if you cannot go all in, because one side will def be disrespected! T 🤝
Igbo Perspective@IgboPerspective

The Igbo awareness is beginning to show. Let me see who will go and prostrate in the name of marrying Yoruba girl in 3 years time.
