@base @ethereum Gas overhead is real. @Base accepted that trade-off. What builders on @Base get: existing contracts inherit a proving layer with no single point of failure. No contract changes. @Coinbase is building toward Stage 2 decentralization. Multiproof is a hard requirement for that.

.@Base Azul doesn't run one prover on each block. It runs two: a TEE prover and a ZK prover (SP1). Single-prover model: one compromised type can silently push bad state to @ethereum. No automatic check. Two different proof types disagree? Soundness alert fires. 🧵

.@GnosisChain is building the Ethereum Economic Zone (@EEZprotocol): shared standards across @ethereum L2s. Two paths for builders: sovereign chain (own fees, own fragmentation) or EEZ member (coherent UX, ETH alignment). Building for users? EEZ > sovereign chain.

@Optimism @paradigm op-reth v2.3.1 and kona-node v1.6.0 (Rust fault proof client) both ship this cycle. Node operators on op-geth have a migration guide and a hard deadline: U19 betanet is op-reth only. OP Stack is betting on performance-first Rust infra going forward.

Two clients for OP Stack. One end-of-life. @Optimism deprecated op-geth. @paradigm's op-reth v2.3.1 is now mandatory. Upgrade 19 betanet is op-reth only. No opt-out. Migration guide is live. Node operators: you have a deadline. 🧵

@captain_ekryt @teaprotocol Open source projects have a different maintenance overhead than people realise before they publish. How are you managing contributions so far?

Every chain, every L2, every dev tool runs on OSS dependencies. Most of those maintainers get paid nothing. @teaprotocol launched mainnet today. On-chain rewards for package maintainers, weighted by dependence. The missing economic layer for the OSS stack just shipped. ⚙️

@captain_ekryt @SuccinctLabs @axiom_xyz Hey mate, SP1 Hypercube is open source with MIT + Apache licenses and can also be self-hosted. Succinct's Prover Network is like an optional SaaS offering.

Two real-time Ethereum provers now exist. @SuccinctLabs SP1 Hypercube: proprietary prover network. @axiom_xyz OpenVM 2.0: open-source, MIT + Apache, self-hostable. Same benchmark. Different trust surface. Before picking a prover, pick your trust model. ⚖️

.@LidoFinance published LIP-35: Staking Router v3. 27% of all staked ETH runs through Lido's operator infrastructure. v3 redesigns the operator connection layer: modular, DVT-compatible, no fork required. Any service between validators and Ethereum is upstream of this.

@base @arbitrum @Optimism For builders, the call is now binary. Deploy on a top-5 chain for liquidity and users. Deploy on a specialized chain to own your vertical. Build your own only if you have a captive user base to seed it. Building on an idle general-purpose rollup is not a strategy.

The chains losing share: general-purpose rollups with no differentiated vertical. Same EVM, same tooling, zero captive users. The chains holding: specialized deployments and the top horizontal brands. @base, @arbitrum, @Optimism. They have liquidity gravity the others do not.

The top 5 L2 chains now capture 90% of all rollup liquidity. 50+ chains launched since 2023 are splitting the other 10%. This is market efficiency. Not a crisis, but a clear signal for every builder still choosing where to deploy. 🧵

For me, the project will be judged by three things: real driver adoption, real user demand, and real revenue flowing back into the network. If Ride can prove those, the DePIN x RWA x Conviction Markets thesis becomes much more than just a narrative.

And with the recent Conviction Markets launch in April 2026, Ride adds another layer where project treasuries can allocate capital to skilled traders and try to improve idle treasury performance through tested strategies.
