@albiverse @Remotion Good ear. The first beat (when the pink bar slides in) is a generated sound effect and the downbeat (when “transactions” types out) is from the selected music. I tried to mix the two sounds together to sound like a continuous audio track, but it is a little weak.

@frogmonkee @Remotion pretty cool! for some reason the first beat of the music is a little delayed/lacks punch (playing with bluetooth so probably it)

I made this announcement video with Claude, Figma, @Remotion, and ElevenLabs. Here's how I did it: 1. Threw all of our brand assets and brand guide into Claude and created a brand skill file. (Did this a looong time ago, not for this launch.) 2. Fed it previously examples of launch videos that fit this style. Asked it to parse each frame and put together a video skill file. 3. Workshopped a video concept with Claude. Produce a detailed video spec. 4. Fed the spec to Figma Make to produce some basic mock ups as reference. Tweaked directly in Figma. 5. Spin up a remotion instance and fed the 2 skill files, video spec, and mock ups. Spent a few hours tweaking animation. (Next time I'll give @HyperFrames_ another try.) 6. Once the video was done, I had Claude generate several SFX clips using the ElevenLabs API. Tweaked it as needed. Got the music from Artlist. Overall, pretty happy with how this turned out! I'd called this A- work. Open to any tips/suggestions that others have.

@Miguel07Code I did a side-by-side comparison test, asking both remotion and hyperframes to recreate this video: I also included a brand style guide along with fonts and media assets to use (logo, outro bumper). Remotion was much closer to the original.

you can either cry because it’s over or smile because it happened yes, i realize it’s a cliché, but it’s a great way to approach life especially in the hard times and this past week feels like it has thrown everything hard at me from being impacted by the @coinbase layoffs, to saying goodbye to my family labradoodle of 16.5 years, to dealing with a stomach bug last night it was truly hard to wake up this morning and feel like everything is going to be okay with all of this happening at once but in times like these, it’s important to smile and remember the amazing times life has brought before i wouldn’t trade anything for the in-person time i spent with the team i hired at @base, or the 16.5+ years of hikes and playtime with my dog, or the health i’ve been granted to complete feats like half-marathons and a marathon obviously i’m sad, but smiling and choosing the optimistic outlook makes the hard times so much better and man am i thankful for all of the support i have received i’ll be back stronger

@lex_node Their public comms are pretty aggressive in moving towards Stage 2. The energy is the same behind the scenes in conversations I've had with the Base team. My guess is it may take longer than expected since coinbase is huge and will likely want to slowly make network changes.

Base may actually be serious about Stage 2. I really hope so.
