@champagneszn777 I got burned. Working longs in Asia right now to make back what I was stopped for this morning. Hopefully going to get up to these REH’s
@ItsTraderLuke I would still trade. I would be better at it without the financial burdens. Unfortunately the reason everyone gets into trading in the first place is the same thing that holds them back. Wicked irony.
Moving your SL to BE is bullshit.
It has absolutely nothing to do with “risk management”.
You know it yourself, but you still do it, because you’re just scared to lose money.
Stop being a pussy and let the trade play out.
Tracked the data from backtesting last few months and forward testing in live market. Here’s what I noticed. Es has stop hunts but only half the amount of nq from a 3 month stand point in nyse. Mnq has almost double the amount of stop hunts as nq and close to triple the amount of Es. Will I switch to es primarily? No. Not my edge. But it could be yours. Do the backtesting to see for yourself.
@champagneszn777 Head on a swivel. NY AM is no joke. Other than that, literally anything can happen right now. Just retracing to equilibrium of this recent run would be huge.
Keep y’all head up. I know indices are unbearable most days. Usually price gets better at this time of the year but I’ll be honest. Been trading a very long time and I never seen this type of PA for this long. Am I worried? Yes. And I’m still an elite trader? Yes. I just know for people who don’t have the experience, you have to take everything you see with a grain of salt. I was saying all of this months ago because I saw the storm coming and people wanted to say I was complaining. Well… I have less stress now because I knew what I was talking about and my expectations are now managed. I fully expect this type of PA consistently until the war ends or Trump is out of office. Nothing you can do about it but just trade bro. #Cm1
@I_Am_The_ICT We took a lot of sellside yesterday+ATH so TGIF is out. Explored way to the upside already overnight. Shorts will be dangerous, longs uncertain. Next week is smarter.
I was tired and drifted off last night...
I have a few things I must do this morning, afterwards I will review.
I have no bias or interest in markets today.
Be careful.
