@sykesJbrayden I mean again, your position is/was that trans people shouldn't be able to participate in sports, which is inherently a discriminatory position, and Bluesky users tend to have *very* little tolerance for transphobia.

@captainwonkish This is such a relatively newer issue, and I think over time it will become much easier to see what the proper path is. I am not for discrimination of any kind. And I’m always open to new ideas and perspectives. Someone on Bluesky called me an idiot for saying that.

@sykesJbrayden While there's potentially some sports where it might make sense to not gender them, letting trans people participate doesn't mean you're doing that, especially with the regs in place, and especially pre-puberty.

@captainwonkish The part I struggle with is the actual sport side. I feel like men and women sports are too different for me to feel comfortable mixing the two in a competitive setting. I don’t think one “better” than the other, I just acknowledge them as being very different.

@sykesJbrayden 3rd, ironically if you're concerned about trans women theoretically having an advantage in terms of sport, you should be a fan of kids being able to get gender affirming care, including puberty blockers, because that means trans women won't have gone through male puberty.

@sykesJbrayden 2nd, while it is possible to do gender affirming care if you've gone through the wrong puberty, puberty causes changes to the body that are much more difficult/sometimes impossible to fully change after. No amount of testosterone causes the breasts you grew to just fall off etc.

It is defamatory and deranged for anyone to claim that I am a literal Nazi. I appreciate people who go to the other app to file complaints against blacklists like this, which in my own case is intended to prevent me from reporting inconvenient truths. The real virus is covered in spike proteins, and unlike the ones your immune briefly sees then destroys via vaccination, the ones from the the real virus are used by it to infect you.
