I am an Independent voter in the US and I did not vote for Trump. With that being said, the Department of Education was established to combat the rampant stealing of education funding in the US Southern states (I realize this is an over simplification, but that is the core of it). It was created in 1979 by Carter. Since the inception of the Dept of Ed the US educational system has tanked in its ability to educate our children. We are taking the speed for granted. 1 big thing a day happens that old administrations would be happy with 1 a year.

Okay, seems fitting given Mar-a-Lago is there. I voted for Trump 3 times and would do so again in a hearbeat given the alternatives, but his ego is tiresome.
