@PinkOddy structure, essay technique etc there will never be too much revision for. Same with languages, unless they are fluent with a perfect accent no revision is wasted time. And in 24 hours it will fly by! I would def encourage it for the pride in his commitment if nothing else! xx

Teen has been told to revise for 3 hours a day next week. Trouble is he doesn't know how to revise because he just doesn't need to. The school say don't focus on the results because it is to best learn how to revise. But how can he do that when he's getting top marks?

@PinkOddy so literally writing for those three hours a day will help him in the exam conditions. Physically not necessarily mentally for remembering. And revision is about improving and evolving your way of answering. Maths is a yes no answer but subjects where it's about argument and

@PinkOddy I've had great discussions with teachers lately and I'll pass on. It's great when they know it, but they won't always know it, so getting into a more complacent routine even with results now won't help him when the time will come that it's trickier. Muscle memory is as important
