Players disliking a pro sports commissioner is very common. The key in WNBA will be if owners actually do support Engelbert. We'll see how this all plays out. I'm never going to change anyone's mind on how they feel, but to me this extreme hostility toward her is unwarranted.

No WNBA leader has had more financial growth of the league during her tenure than Cathy Engelbert. The league has gotten charter flights, the first franchise expansion in 17 years (with more to come) and far greater sponsorship investment. She doesn't deserve such rancor. ...
