By directing resources to trusted community organizations, we can help expand access to treatment and reduce stigma. This year, CareSource’s Workplace Giving Campaign addresses the mental health crisis affecting the nation. CareSource employees have the opportunity to support organizations making a difference in our communities with one of those being @ChldrnsCabnt in Nevada. Children’s Cabinet is dedicated to keeping children safe and families together by providing services and resources that address unmet needs, assisting parents at every step of the parent-child relationship. This Nevada-based organization offers a wide range of family and youth services, including case management, mental health support classes, counseling and suicide prevention support. #CareSourceCares #CareSourceNV

Our Nevada team was thrilled to participate in the recent produce giveaway at Arturo Cambeiro Elementary School, hosted in partnership with @CIS_Nevada. Our team provided valuable resources and information about CareSource, while offering fresh fruits and snack packs to support the well-being of families in the Silver State. That’s why we partnered with @MarquetteMBB this college basketball season! 🏀 For every assist they made, we donated $10 to @SHARPLiteracy, an organization dedicated to supporting Wisconsin children’s futures through engaging lessons that improve reading comprehension and inspire a love of learning. 💜 Thanks to this partnership, we were able to contribute a total of $7,500 - a step forward in fulfilling the CareSource mission to strengthen the health and well-being of the communities we serve. #CareSourceWI

This year’s Workplace Giving Campaign offers employees a unique opportunity to further the CareSource mission by supporting three carefully chosen organizations. Each of these partners addresses critical gaps in mental health care, providing essential services to some of the most vulnerable members of our communities. Among them is Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) in Ohio. Ensuring our members have access to critical mental health services is foundational to CareSource’s mission. And one of the best ways that we can support mental health is by uplifting and empowering community-based organizations that are already making a lasting difference in the health and well-being of those in our communities. ISBH delivers compassionate, individualized support to individuals and families throughout Southeastern and Central Ohio. By reaching out directly within homes and local communities, they connect people with the resources they need. Their comprehensive services encompass behavioral health treatment and a range of support programs, all in partnership with local agencies dedicated to fostering healthier individuals and stronger communities. We had an incredible time celebrating students from Alliance Academy who had an exemplary attendance record! Together with @CISofOhio, we enjoyed a fun-filled day of “Fowling” alongside none other than Who Dey, the @Bengals mascot. 💜 When kids stay in school and keep up their attendance, they’re kicking off a future full of success and healthy opportunities. Our mission is all about supporting our communities, and that starts by encouraging children to be present in the classroom. Our team was excited to have the opportunity to visit with the amazing therapy dogs in training at @4PawsForAbility! 🐾 It was inspiring to see the incredible work these dogs will do to support children and veterans with disabilities and bring comfort to those in need. Our team members loved spending time with these wonderful pups and learning about their training journey. A big thank you to 4 Paws for Ability for stopping by and sharing their mission! We are thrilled to highlight the impact of our team! 💜 As part of our annual workplace giving program, more than 250 CareSource employees donated a portion of their paychecks to @FireflyIndiana, which works to improve the lives of children and families across Indiana. To celebrate these monumental contributions, CareSource employees volunteered their time at Firefly’s support center in Indianapolis to pack emergency kits and spend time with children enrolled in the Firefly foster care program. Exciting News from Albany, GA! Last week, our CareSource Georgia team proudly awarded $150,000 as part of the CareSource Foundation Georgia Grant Challenge! We are thrilled to support Albany Area Primary Health Care (@AAPHC2) and SOWEGA Council on Aging (SOWEGA COA) with $75,000 each to enhance their vital programs that address social determinants of health for older adults and underserved communities. 💜 AAPHC will use the funds to expand: • Social work engagement • Patient navigation • Maternal health education • Group resources • Vital support for rural pregnant women 💜 SOWEGA COA will use grant funding to enhance: • Care coordination opportunities • Well-being and independence in older adults • Aging-in-place support services Community organizations are essential partners in closing gaps in care. These grants support innovative, local solutions that make a meaningful difference across Southwest Georgia.
