At the recent Andrew Vaughn ProCamp, CareSource was honored to support the community by donating FREE spots to 50 campers this year! We were truly inspired by the incredible generosity of campers and their families who contributed 8,500 personal hygiene items, directly benefiting United Community Centers. ⚾ As first baseman for the @Brewers, Andrew Vaughn led this inspiring event with passion and purpose - serving not only as a mentor but also as a driving force empowering kids to grow, thrive and reach their full potential. @ProCamps are about more than just athletics; they cultivate teamwork, build confidence and promote well-being, leaving a lasting positive impact well beyond the field. Thanks to CareSource-donated scholarships, 50 campers attended for FREE this year! Creating healthier communities starts with investing in our youth! 🏈 CareSource Nevada was proud to support the @Raiders Wide Receiver Tre Tucker’s ProCamp. Each Pro Camp features a local athlete who serves as a mentor and ambassador, inspiring participants to grow, thrive, and reach their full potential. Opportunities like ProCamps go beyond athletics, they’re community-based sports events for kids designed to help foster teamwork, confidence, and well-being, creating a positive impact that extends far beyond the playing field. Plus, over 75 campers attended for free due to scholarships funded by CareSource. We were especially inspired by the generosity of campers and families who donated 800 personal hygiene items benefitting the Dolores Huerta Resource Center in the @CNLV. More than 90 children in the Silver State had the opportunity to attend the CareSource Las Vegas Impact Camp with the @tigers’ Spencer Torkelson. The impact camp was a free event for Boys & Girls Club members, where they had the opportunity to get active alongside one of their sports heroes and experience various stations specializing in the fundamentals of baseball. ⚾ During the camp, CareSource awarded $5,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada which will provide 250 teens with a full year of Club membership. This donation will help young people in Nevada have access to safe spaces, positive mentors and opportunities to thrive both on and off the field. We were beyond grateful to work with @ProCamps to put on this impactful event, encouraging campers to be active and lead brighter, healthier futures. 💜 #CareSourceNV

Being active is a key part to leading a healthy life. Recently, Darius Acuff Jr., Detroit native and @RazorbackMBB player, led a free impact camp for members of the ACC Youth Center in the city of Detroit. Campers had the opportunity to learn from and play with one of their sports heroes, experiencing various stations specializing in the fundamentals of basketball. 🏀 Sponsoring impact camps where local children have the opportunity to be active, learn and have fun helps create communities that are healthy and thriving. 18 years ago today I was blessed with the best gift imaginable. Happy Birthday @LilyBuckets33! I don’t share much about Lily’s journey because it’s not my story to tell but she’s been through a LOT and perseveres every single damn day. We’re so close in age that Lily has been my best friend for my entire adult life. My joke is that we’ll be laughing it up in the old folks home together one day. She can shoot that MFer from deep too! Happy Birthday Lily! 💙
