Gospel: Today when Jesus sees the great crowds, his heart is "moved with pity" (Mk 6). But the Greek word used is stronger: ἐσπλαγχνίσθη (esplanchnisthē). Jesus feels this "in his guts." This is how we are called to feel when we see anyone who is lost, excluded, or marginalized.
