I love origami. I tried to create a perfect origami prompt for you. I hope you'll share your creations with me, sometimes it takes a few re-rolls but the results are so fun. Prompt: origami adorable orange rabbit, skyrim, kawaii, paper craft, cinematic, white background, high detail, HD, ultra detailed

I asked Bing Chat a fairly benign question. She was not amused.

@tacertain AWS has lots of customers who use it in lots of different ways. Even small problems can get high visibility. Also AWS is growing rapidly, at least when I was there. You had a lot of work just to maintain 'steady state.' I suspect lots can fail at twitter silently.

While I stand by this tweet, I'm also remembering how in 1999 Amazon lost all but one of its network engineers and we got through it. It's never a good idea to bet against human ingenuity and perseverance. But boy do I fear for this industry if everything goes swimmingly.
Andrew Certain@tacertain

@Steinernomics Word that ¾ of the remaining Twitter employees have elected to take severance. I don't agree with all the stuff here, but I know that if any service team in AWS lost over 80% of their folks in the span of a week, things would eventually stop working. twitter.com/MosquitoCapita…

Hello twitter world 🙂 A question for my friends with Parkinson's? Are many of you affected by Globus Pharyngeus (a feeling of something stuck in the throat)? I am at least once a month & it's really quite comfortable 😬

Exercise helps symptoms & slows disease progression, yet 41% with #Parkinsons do the same or less exercise than before diagnosis. Half don’t do recommended strength, balance & flexibility exercises. Others overdo it. Why? Personas give us a clue, as one size rarely fits all in pd

I will be heartbroken if Twitter dies and I lose access to the #Parkinsons community. I wanted to do a quick vid to express how much you have all meant to me. The vid falls way short of the mark in terms of expressing my love for you. At least I didn’t swear this time!

Changing our voting system is ahead by ~2,000 votes in Seattle! and if we change, Ranked Choice Voting is crushing Approval Voting by more than 3 to 1 as the method. Interestingly, Sam Bankman-Fried funded approval voting campaigning here in Seattle, so he's having a good week.

I've just discovered the work of @davetroy. His take on Musk's takeover of Twitter is well-researched, completely at odds with conventional assumptions, and deeply alarming: davetroy.medium.com/no-elon-and-ja… Troy's other perspectives on geopolitics and disinformation are also eye-opening.
