Mamardashvilli might be the most unfairly treated Liverpool player I've seen in a while We've conceded plenty with him and Alisson in net. How about stop exposing them to chance after chance, meaning less likelihood of errors? No GK in the world would've looked good for us.

"In my opinion, Mamardashvili is not good enough, I would sell, you'd get your money back for him." "You need someone with plenty of experience, who's sure of themselves, who's steady, consistent." 🎥 TAW Unwrapped | AURA FRAMES

Mad how some ‘Liverpool’ fans can’t comprehend how one of our best ever footballers who was handsomely rewarded (rightfully so) for winning us the title shouldn’t speak out against the club in his last week with us. It’s not what you should do, no matter who you are. As much as he’s right in what he says, a bit of self awareness in how much his own on-pitch level has dropped this season would’ve given his statement some balance at least. Apparently you hate Salah if you think this. I think this AND still love Salah for what he’s done for the club. Isn’t that mind bending? I repeat, no one is bigger than the club. It’s more easy than ever to see who supports LFC and who supports Salah FC. Hope he gets the best send off possible on Sunday. After that we can all prepare for life post Mo.

🚨| @TEAMtalk: Should Liverpool decide to sack Arne Slot, Al-Ahli's Matthias Jaissle is a coach Liverpool have looked at. There has been a growing appreciation for his tactical approach.

Mo's trying to rewrite the narrative that he wants to play a high pressing attacking brand of football when that simply isn't true. Mo wants to win, Arne's failed at his job this year, Mo's failed at his. There needs to be collective responsibility and flinging shit around the room before leaving when there's still something to play for is disgraceful. Before people pretend I want Arne in, again, I don't. But if you think Jurgen would've stood for this, then god bless.

And here's Curtis lauding Arne's football last season: One of Jones’ recurring themes was that Liverpool had become more composed on the ball. He said the team were learning: “to control games more.” He explained that under Slot the emphasis was not always on attacking immediately after winning possession, but on managing tempo and positioning more intelligently. Jones also described Slot’s football as: “more structured.” and said Liverpool were becoming better at: “keeping the ball and tiring teams out.” He contrasted that with the previous years under Klopp, where games could become very open and transition-heavy. In another interview, Jones said: “We don’t force things as much now.” He explained that the squad were being coached to recognize when to slow matches down instead of constantly playing at maximum intensity. One particularly interesting quote from Jones was: “Sometimes football can look chaotic when it’s too up and down.” He said Slot wanted Liverpool to have: better spacing, more control between the lines, and longer periods of possession. Jones also praised the tactical detail in training under Slot, saying players were learning: where to stand, when to rotate, and how to create overloads more systematically. A paraphrased section from one of his interviews was essentially: “The manager wants us to dominate games with the ball instead of just relying on energy.”

Mo Salah is the best player I’ve seen play for Liverpool. He is and always will be a legend of the club and much of what he has said - in terms of this season not being good enough - is absolutely right. That doesn’t necessarily mean he has gone about things in the right way.
