[🚨] NEW: In the case of Arne Slot leaving Liverpool, Andoni Iraola is at the very top of the list. [@Santi_J_FM]

"In my opinion, Mamardashvili is not good enough, I would sell, you'd get your money back for him." "You need someone with plenty of experience, who's sure of themselves, who's steady, consistent." 🎥 TAW Unwrapped | AURA FRAMES

"I don't remember him apologising after his outburst at Leeds..." 😯

🚨| @TEAMtalk: Should Liverpool decide to sack Arne Slot, Al-Ahli's Matthias Jaissle is a coach Liverpool have looked at. There has been a growing appreciation for his tactical approach.

And here's Curtis lauding Arne's football last season: One of Jones’ recurring themes was that Liverpool had become more composed on the ball. He said the team were learning: “to control games more.” He explained that under Slot the emphasis was not always on attacking immediately after winning possession, but on managing tempo and positioning more intelligently. Jones also described Slot’s football as: “more structured.” and said Liverpool were becoming better at: “keeping the ball and tiring teams out.” He contrasted that with the previous years under Klopp, where games could become very open and transition-heavy. In another interview, Jones said: “We don’t force things as much now.” He explained that the squad were being coached to recognize when to slow matches down instead of constantly playing at maximum intensity. One particularly interesting quote from Jones was: “Sometimes football can look chaotic when it’s too up and down.” He said Slot wanted Liverpool to have: better spacing, more control between the lines, and longer periods of possession. Jones also praised the tactical detail in training under Slot, saying players were learning: where to stand, when to rotate, and how to create overloads more systematically. A paraphrased section from one of his interviews was essentially: “The manager wants us to dominate games with the ball instead of just relying on energy.”

If there is any ounce of positivity that will come out of him leaving it’s that Salah fc will fuck of with him.

Mo Salah is the best player I’ve seen play for Liverpool. He is and always will be a legend of the club and much of what he has said - in terms of this season not being good enough - is absolutely right. That doesn’t necessarily mean he has gone about things in the right way.
