@xamat @GoogleHealth Hola! As promising as FHIR is, HL7v2 is still the reality in most of the NHS hospitals we work with. We wanted to develop a generator of synthetic data that covered the needs of a large portion of the medical world right now. But we are looking into FHIR support 🙂

@andreweland @DeepMind_Health Thank you for your support with this project, it would not have been possible without you, really. And you even wrote the HL7v2 parser which is still the most clever piece of code I've ever seen

I’m happy to see the simulated hospital code we wrote at @DeepMind_Health finally make its way into open source. Hopefully it helps more teams to build clinical systems without real patient data. Nice work @carmrui and team!
