Service industry workers being called “low skilled” frustrates me so much because I could absolutely do a desk job and sit in meetings all day, but I guarantee you’d quit in 10 minutes if you had to serve the public for 12+ hours with a big fake smile on your face and no breaks

They didn’t say a word about mood swings or how important progesterone is or what it does or what happens during luteal. THAT ENDS NOW. MY DAUGHTER WILL BE PREPARED, DAMMIT. Ladies, if you have a question I have become an effing encyclopedia of women’s health over the past 3-4 months. Holy shit what a disservice. Hot flashes? Ha! This woman has been forced to sleep on her couch recently. She has a very important message to share. She bought a very expensive Sleep Number bed. When she moved she recently discovered something when she was setting up her bed in her new place. She discovered mold! The Sleep Number bed uses air mattresses underneath. Well, to get air in those chambers there are tubes that pump air into them. If the tube has a small leak, air is leaking out. Air is not moisture itself, but it can help create moisture and moisture helps create mold. She looked at her hoses and you can see mold inside the tubes. When she called them tahe says they told her she was lying and it wasn’t possible. Then they told her for $500 they would send her a new piece of foam. So, if you have one of those very expensive beds and have been feeling sick lately, you might want to check your bed. You just might be sleeping in mold. Others said they checked and yep, they found mold as well. We looked at one just last July. I’m glad we didn’t buy one. When we went to another Mattress store, the owner explained to us how overpriced those beds actually were. Do you own one of these beds? Been feeling ill lately? Don’t you think they should issue a full and complete refund for the bed?

I hope my husband had a very uncomfortable day at work today. I hope all of his female coworkers asked what he did for me for Mother’s Day. And I hope he had to tell them the truth. Nothing. No flowers. No card. No breakfast. No last-minute grocery store bouquet grabbed on the way home. Nothing at all. Meanwhile, I am the mother of his children. The same children I carried, delivered, and continue to keep alive on a daily basis. I didn’t even want anything extravagant. A handwritten card, a cup of coffee, or somebody else loading the dishwasher would have been enough. Instead, the day came and went like it was a random Tuesday.
