BREAKING: Donald Trump gets SHOCKINGLY bad news as polling reveals that 62% of Americans believe that the country is headed in the wrong direction under his leadership. And it gets so much better... 71% of independents and 92% feel that way, according to the American Values Survey by the nonpartisan Public Religion Research Institute. Amongst Republicans, 24% now agree that we are headed in the wrong direction. And while that number should be higher given the dire state of our nation, it's high for what is normally a cultishly loyal political party. The poll also dove into the specific issues affecting Americans' perception of the country. 65% of people said that the economy is headed in the wrong direction, while 65% said that about the federal government's functioning. 60% feel that way about foreign affairs and 57% feel that way about immigration policy. The fact that a majority of Americans oppose the White House's immigration policy is disastrous for Donald Trump. This is his trademark issue and the core pillar of his political movement. As it turns out, normal people do not like seeing families torn apart, innocent people brutalized, and widespread violence carried out by masked government thugs. To that final point, 58% of Americans oppose ICE agents concealing their identities or using unmarked vehicles. 60% of respondents said that the administration has "gone too far" with its cuts to Medicaid, Medicare, and Obamacare, an unsurprising development given the fact that Trump slashed a staggering $1 trillion from Medicaid with his "big, beautiful bill." On top of that, the current government shutdown is a result of Republicans refusing to extend crucial Affordable Care Act subsidies. If you attack the American people's healthcare, they're going to notice and they're going to hold you accountable. According to PRRI's CEO Melissa Deckman, independents “are very unhappy with Trump’s actions.” All of this bodes incredibly poorly for Republican chances in the mid-term elections. Conditions are only going to worsen between now and then, because Donald Trump isn't interested in improving the lives of the American people, he's interested in lining his own pockets and seizing more personal power. Just yesterday, it was revealed that he's demanding that his own Justice Department pay him $230 million as recompense for the investigations into him. It's worth pointing out that every crime that Trump commits, every civil right he tramples, and every dollar he pilfers from the public treasury will stick to J.D. Vance. The worst vice president in American history intends on running for president himself one day and at this rate he'll have nothing but a legacy of ashes to run on. It is spreading. It is not confined to one side or belief system. It should terrify us all. The foundation of a free society is the ability to participate in it without fear of violence. Political violence is always an attack against us all. You have to be so blind not to see that.

BREAKING: Texas Democrats drop a bombshell on Donald Trump by pushing for an amendment to the state's redistricting maps that would require MAGA Attorney General Pam Bondi to release the Jeffrey Epstein files before the changes can take effect. This is a brilliant chess move... “Trump is in those files, and that’s why he’s fighting to keep them hidden,” stated Texas House Minority Leader Gene Wu. “At the same time he’s demanding Abbott ram through racist maps, he’s making sure Congressional Republicans block the release of files that could expose his decades-long relationship with a child sex trafficker,” Wu added. “This amendment forces Republicans to choose between their loyalty to Trump and their obligation to expose sexual predators.” The amendment, which is being introduced by Wu, states that the new maps can only be adopted once Bondi "makes publicly available in a searchable and downloadable format all unclassified records, documents, communications, and investigative materials in the possession of the Department of Justice, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation and United States Attorneys’ Offices, that relate to Jeffrey Epstein." Republicans are planning to ram through a vote to add five new Republican-leaning districts, a move that would dilute the votes of Black and Latino voters and give Trump a better chance of holding the U.S. House in the midterm elections. Trump himself requested the electoral assistance. While Republicans will almost certainly vote down the amendment, even that would be a victory for Democrats because it would once again force the Republicans to admit that they're covering up the Epstein files.
