@EliMcCann We aren’t doctors but every time we watched I would jokingly say “I bet it’s sarcoidosis”. That was always their guess & was wrong. Until the one episode it wasn’t lol

@notcapnamerica I’m an elementary school librarian…. I can ALWAYS tell which of my students has been consistently read to. it’s also a struggle to get through a simple picture book bc of a lack of ability to focus. Don’t get me started on reading stamina for those able to read a chapter book.

A 2025 survey by Nielsen and HarperCollins found that only 41% of children aged 0–4 are read to frequently, down from 64% in 2012. Additionally, only 40% of parents with children aged 0–13 reported that reading aloud is enjoyable for them.

@MrsPete23 I thank them personally, and although I try do handwritten notes, this winter break i sent emails to simply acknowledge the gift. At the end of the school year I’ll mail. Curiously, when I was a parent giving the gifts, I didn’t care! 😂.

My youngest made gift boxes 🎁 for all of her teachers. She made the bracelets and she purchased the gift cards with her own money. She didn’t receive any thank you notes. Do you think they are an outdated gesture? #teachertwitter

@BucksCountyPark why was the loop at #PeaceValley closed today, 7/19/24? Ranger stopped walkers/bikers at the nature center without explanation (or politeness). Some people did get through since I saw them when I had to double back 3.5 miles. No signs, nothing. Very disappointed.

@rat_liker The optics problem is not the baby tasting you NA beers, it's the baby at the brewery at all. That's what babysitters are for.

last night i was drinking a non-alcoholic beer and the baby wanted to try it so i let her and she loved it and kept going back for more which would normally be fine but we were at a brewery so the optics were kinda like, not great
