@EllTFC96 He’s out of contract and we won’t be able to compete on wages. Happens every year and with us being relegated it’s inevitable he won’t want to stay though. I like him but he’s not that great 😊

@JohnCarterScott Nobody can answer the poll until someone makes an offer and we know what they are offering. The club is cheap to buy. The money needed every year to run it is the problem.

We have to question the trust model. If we don't do anything, it's national league for us in the near future. #ecfc

A sensible offer would have to be considered and ultimately voted on by the members. If you are talking many millions they might bite.

@UKREST0RATI0N @OfficialECFC The million dollar question which even The Trust can’t answer cos all members will have a different opinion. Some would take £10m which might last a few years, others might say a guaranteed £5m a year for say 10’years. Whatever it is someone needs to offer it

They clearly do not have the funds or resources. Time for a serious change in structure. How much do they want? Simple

Remember these people kept Gary Caldwell in place when the club was spiralling since January, they do not care and we are now in L2.

Compressed working weeks are a fairly common in the private sector and help working parents and carers. I used to work in primary schools, so I’ll try to explain it in a way you might understand. A 40 hour working week can be 4x10 hour days or 5x 8 hour days. I hope this helps.

Genuine question for anyone over 50… If your house dropped 20% in value, your state pension was means-tested, the triple lock was scrapped, and your private pension pot didn’t keep pace with inflation, what’s your plan? Because at least two of those things are coming. Probably three. And nobody is talking about it.

@Apalaceboy61 @iAmJoshHunt The oldest benefits are automatically 5%. Anything from 1997 is RPI to 5%. I’m a trustee of a DB scheme. Trust me that’s quite normal.

@carrjonp @iAmJoshHunt Most Final salary DB schemes have no cap, that’s why 99% are closed to new members or have fully closed altogether, if your scheme is linked to RPI/CPI how can you get 5% when inflation is 3.8% ?

@Apalaceboy61 @iAmJoshHunt Only around 1 in 10 schemes have no cap. Most are 5% with some at 2.5%. If you have an uncapped one then you’ve done well. Actually with mine some of it is always 5% so I gain when inflation is low.
