These are tough results for Labour. There’s no sugarcoating it. We’ve lost brilliant Labour representatives who’ve stood up for their communities. People are still frustrated. Their lives aren’t changing fast enough. We haven’t offered enough hope or optimism for the future. Following news of Fed Square's decision to no longer show Socceroos World Cup matches live, Melbourne Arts Precinct Director & CEO Katrina Sedgwick has provided a statement on the decision to 10 News.
Sedgwick added "there will be plenty of other places [in Melbourne] getting into the World Cup spirit, and we encourage football fans to check out what’s on in venues across the city, and in their local areas."

Iconic scenes from previous Socceroos World Cup runs will be no more, with Melbourne's Federation Square reportedly making the call to no longer show Australia's matches on its big screen during the upcoming FIFA World Cup.
