@fandompulse I would love to see more book adaptations! PHM was so successful in the book community. I haven’t gone to the movie theatre in years but went for this one because I loved the book.
Project Hail Mary has crossed $579 million worldwide and is closing in on the domestic record held by Inception.
It opened to $80.5 million. No franchise. No shared universe. No sequel setup. Just a faithful adaptation of a hard sci-fi novel by Andy Weir.
It holds a 94% on Rotten Tomatoes and an A from CinemaScore audiences.
Will Hollywood take the right lesson from this, or will it keep telling itself original stories can't compete?
@hawkeyesquared7@cursedhat It’s a TV show. Being disappointed for a character is more realistic than everyone getting a happy ending. It’s OK for something to happen that you don’t like…
@cursedhat yeah i'm out lol what was the point what was the reason???? they really spent a whole season demoralizing samira just so she could go out on her lowest low and that's the worst part to me. like if she was gonna leave couldn't it have been on a high note??
ayesha posted the article on instagram and said she’s been “wanting to share this for a while”, so i am taking this as the extra confirmation. i will not be finishing the pitt s2 and i won’t be tuning in for s3. this whole situation is so ugly.
anyway @TeamUSA@usahockey do you have anything to say about the scene in your men’s team’s locker room where the women’s team who made history in multiple ways and delivered you a gold medal was insulted and mocked and turned into a misogynistic punch line?
The president/republicans will say shit like this and then make “protecting women’s sports” a huge part of their platform. Pick a side- do you care about women’s sports or not??? This is so embarrassing.
