@AbbyLCannon Could be, especially the latter (benchwarmer). He didn't specifically mention children here that I saw, instead he was talking about their different cultural backgrounds etc. I don't think either one is really a better reason/excuse though, as the end result for her is the same.
English

@RabbitholeGirl @ask_aubry Exactly. There was just another case of an 8 yo child raped on her "wedding night" by a middle-aged man. She died. He murdered her by raping an innocent child to death, and probably nothing will happen to him. People who justify this are all as sick, no matter which book they bow

@h_zajtam @ask_aubry If you think that literal toddlers can't go through puberty and menstruate, sit down and read more. twitter.com/casempire/stat…
Cas@casempire
@ask_aubry @h_zajtam The youngest recorded case of menstruation was 2,5 years. The poor little girl was raped, and also became the world's youngest mother. She gave birth at age 5 via C-section. No one was ever punished for what was done to her. Her name is Lina Medina.

@h_zajtam Wow... you seriously came in with that?
You know girls as young as 6 have had periods. But you go on with your bad self thinking that's the word issue. 🙄

@casempire Oh, I didn’t mean chat or remote visits are a cruddy workaround, I meant Amazon & GoodRx using this business model to provide inexpensive services that should be provided by universal healthcare is a cruddy workaround.
Healthcare should not be profit-driven.
English

@TheLazyAnole @dremilyportermd Oh, it absolutely should never be the only available type of healthcare, but it's a great help. Especially in rural areas (doctor can physically be anywhere), or for the elderly or people w/ disabilities/anxiety, or difficulty making the trip due to cost, work, kids, no car etc.
English

@casempire @dremilyportermd I saw someone say GoodRx offers a similar service, but their providers are more thorough.
But either way it’s a cruddy workaround & what we really need is universal healthcare.

@NorrinRidder @Sorazure15 If you don't like dark, the show or the comics aren't for you (nor is anything else by Ennis). Try Spiderman?

@AndyFrance22 @drjanaway All thumbs are fingers, but not all fingers are thumbs.

@butlerofdogs @fuzzymittens People just don't understand what it means. It's used in several European countries for back pain relief (doesn't help for other pain). It's injected under the skin in certain specific spots, ending up looking like a temporary blister. Patient obviously knows what's done and why.

English

@catherineroyuk @NICEComms This is new to me. Sounds bonkers, yet there is evidence to support it?
English

Shame on you @NICEComms. Agreeing that healthcare professionals can offer pseudoscientific pain relief to women in labour is nothing short of a scandal. Shame on you.

@glitter__oo @ask_aubry Or rather he hopes to, but all of the ones sober enough to know what they're doing and not too vulnerable are saying no.
English

@ask_aubry The fact that this question has to be asked in the same breath I’m sure he will be like “I don’t want women with high body counts” but he can sleep with 500 women 🤣🤣
English

@ask_aubry Living a life of poverty is a big draw, I'm sure.
English

@Marie765Marie @ask_aubry At least the good ones wouldn't offer a life in poverty (and captivity) in Baton Rouge.
English

@ChadNotChud If I had to choose my opponent, it would not be the hippo. This is like gym muscles vs someone who would kill the guy with gym muscles within 10 seconds.
English

@alyssaferrera_ @blahblahemily And I agreed with that. But for most current people's lifetime there are much safer places. This doesn't mean changes to economy, supply chains, geopolitical stability etc. wouldn't still very negatively affect their quality of life, but natural disasters won't directly kill them
English

@casempire @blahblahemily The point is, eventually, there won't be anywhere to escape to.
English

@ellieleaks Thank goodness no one else ever said anything silly when they were 18.
