One of the wonderful projects we are working on at Momentum educate + innovate is the Inclusive Paths Project. The project aims to enhance the mental health and social inclusion of vulnerable adolescents by implementing innovative Animal-Assisted Interventions. inclusivepaths.eu I've seen first-hand the difference that animals can make to the wellbeing of people. If you know of anyone working in this area, please ask them to contact me. I'd love to have a chat with them. We have consistent reports of underinvestment in infrastructure from @NWAssembly and this hugely clear visual reminder or impact. We have a dedicated agency for the West @WesternDevCo championing our region as a place to invest and locate. Where is the infrastructure investment?

So many of us completely frustrated in Leitrim having being told that the power possibly won’t be back in some areas until at least the 5th Feb. But I think it’s important to point out it’s not the ESBs fault. They’re working flat out into the night in really challenging 🧵

The @ESBNetworks crews have done amazing work to restore power to 626k but sadly day 6 of no power now for 148k premises. Latest map shows Northern half of country impacted. We really a plan for those without heat to get hot meals and accommodation. Another frosty night ahead too

Our elderly and most vulnerable deserve better than this. It’s that simple. Get him into a hotel and get him looked after. We’re one of the richest country’s in Europe and this is simply not good enough. I hope he’s got ppl minding him.

Not one for conspiracy theories but the silence about fit for purpose and future proofed utilities and strategic infrastructure in the west is deafening. We are forgotten, our communities and businesses are being undermined by dire services. Not good enough.

How can we run businesses in rural Ireland? This is a beyond a joke. Our utilities are among the most expensive in Europe and ARE NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. I pity retailers and food outlets. The staff downtime cost is nuts, 2 weeks before Christmas - give me strength
