@fawnskippingz @markmeleka @Movie_Icon Actually, for Christians, it’s “Jesus is Jewish” since they believe he is still alive in His glorified human nature. And, because of council of Ephesus (and communication of properties), you can also say “God is Jewish” and that’d work.

@Darkseeker98 @ipak27 She left him with an alive nanny, not a dead corpse. Sure, she’s wrong for cheating. But you can’t criticize a parent for leaving their kid with a nanny and not expecting the nanny to die in the house

@SoniaRose2344 @elia_mafhh It’s not illegal, it’s a contract. It's 100% up to the hotel’s specific policy. Some allow it, some don’t. It’s not a blanket rule. Saying it’s “illegal” is wild; it LITERALLY cannot be illegal!

@LancasterW29 @MoronMining Again it wasn’t a question of morality but rather a question of doing what’s best for your child. Doing what’s best for your child can be immoral and sinful. But don’t deny that it’s the best thing for your child. The honesty to admit that is all I ask of Christians.

@cashfg6 @MoronMining What’s objectively best is more important. Living with our natural end as our goal is better than death because God has ordained it such. I am happy to let my child choose whether or not he wants to go to hell as God did. I’m not more moral than God which your argument requires.

@LancasterW29 @MoronMining Never considered doing it upon baptism because I haven’t rlly had this convo with a catholic but rather Protestants (who mostly believe in age of accountability no matter what). But it was great insight ty.

@LancasterW29 @MoronMining I think you lost sight of the original argument. You keep on mentioning “objectively best” and “God’s will/desire” and “glory” whilst my claim was regarding what’s best for your child. It seems doing it upon baptism > abortion > living life for the child.

@LancasterW29 @MoronMining Yeah God allows things to happen even though they’re not in our individual best interest. Even though non-existence is better for some people (like Judas), God willed it for them to exist. Again, as a parent, would you do what God wants or what is best for your child?

@cashfg6 @MoronMining You do realize God could have not given us free will? God loves us more than we can love anything but he still let us go to hell. He did this and it made us more glorious beings and us being in heaven more glorious to Him. So I would let my child choose to go to hell as God did.

@LancasterW29 @MoronMining What is this 'glory' that's so great it justifies the risk of someone going to hell? If you gain the entire world and all its glory but risk losing your salvation in the process, how can that be a profit? How can eternal damnation be a worthy risk to take for something temporal?

@cashfg6 @MoronMining You don’t care for glory that’s why it’s a loser’s mentality, you will note I didn’t call you one. Your fundamental error is that you don’t believe life has purpose on this earth even if there is heaven to come. #1 case would be a long life of prayer and bringing glory to God.

@LancasterW29 @MoronMining We have worthiness of (100% heaven - long life) and worthiness of (some chance heaven + some chance of hell + long life). So the choice is between long life and higher chance of hell (and lower chance of heaven). Is this long life on earth worth the risk of hell? IS IT EVER?

@LancasterW29 @MoronMining And that’s a fine take to have dude. Say “I know my child would risk eternal hell if I refuse to abort (and later chicken out during baptism) but I’d rather risk him going to hell than disobey God, even though I fully know avoiding hell is better than being in it” and ur good :)

@LancasterW29 @MoronMining Idk what the point of first sentence is…. Yeah avoiding hell isn’t best; heaven is. I get that. And I accommodated for ur theology by saying abortion is #2 best case whilst upon baptism is #1. Third sentence is also irrelevant name-calling. It’s all clear logical syllogism.

@cashfg6 @MoronMining Your giving yourself authority even God didn’t take for himself. Also avoiding hell isn’t what’s best, heaven is what’s best. Your attitude about everything is a loser’s attitude in this line of argumentation.

@LancasterW29 @MoronMining So what you’re saying is “I know my child would risk eternal hell if I refuse to abort but I’d rather risk him going to hell than disobey God, even though I fully know avoiding hell is best for the child.” honest enough to admit this? It’s like the binding of Isaac haha.

@LancasterW29 @MoronMining I never claimed my logic doesn’t violate God’s will/design but rather claimed that it’s best for the child. It was God’s design for Judas to exist, but Jesus has clearly noted it’d have been better for Judas to not be born (Matt 26:24).

@LancasterW29 @MoronMining But, even with limbo (which would make it worth it for ur child to live until baptism), if you can’t get yourself to commit to the act upon baptism, it’s again best to abort. Otherwise you’ll again introducing the risk of hell.

@LancasterW29 @MoronMining Assuming Limbo, you’re right (though that’d make you a criminal and you’d inflict more pain). But, if you can’t sacrifice yourself to that extent for your kid, then second best case is abortion. Thanks for that reminder :)
