my hottest pitt take is the beef between langdon & santos isn't that spicy and could easily be squashed if santos were in a better place mentally. yes, he was a dickhead during the 9 hours they knew each other, but of the ppl his addiction hurt, she's not even high on the list!

At the risk of being crucified I think Santos not thinking Langdon has actually changed parallels Robby a lot yet again. I think it’s to show that Robby and Santos don’t trust therapy or that people can change because they don’t think it’s possible for themselves

@veronicqnicks @hawkeyesquared7 santos is five seconds away from a total mental health crisis and langdon is only a small part of that! we are seeing the mask begin to break for someone who has been struggling with a lot for a long time. sorry, but that's the dramatically intriguing part! thats the point!

@linovbr I'm not sure if you're misunderstanding me intentionally, but I'm not sure how you're getting all that from what I'm saying. I'm not "blaming Santos," I'm explaining the nature of their conflict is not what it appears on the surface level and why. Not everything is an attack!

@catalystcomett when this is a two ways street is inconsiderate. "If she just accepted his apology, this would be solved". That's not how it works. Words have meaning, your words place all the action and blame in Santos. And she doesn't have to forgive him. Forgiving him ≠ good mental space.

This feels like another example of Santos' anxiety manifesting a reality different from the truth because from what we've seen there are several people that know about Langdon stealing drugs: Robby, Santos, Dana, Whitaker, Perlah (and by proxy Princess), Garcia, and now Mel.

@futchkoo oh my god it’s a 13 episode season and they’re surrounded by dying people and fifteen other plotlines 😭 but again, my point isn’t about langdon, it’s about santos’ mental health and about how her inability to deal with her feelings is hurting her. she is taking the desperate-
