@HOWDYBlTCH I read it and I disagree! The apps are a great place to meet people because it immediately level sets that you're looking to meet people and you don't have to spend time and energy determining if the person you're interacting with is even looking.

My hot take is that if you are actively looking for an exclusive relationship and you are primarily doing so via dating apps you are setting yourself up for failure

Amid the Odyssey/Helen discourse, I've twice or thrice seen people very confidently saying "Greek gods don't have DNA", and while that's sort of true in a roundabout way, I think some people might be interpreting a small point of Percy Jackson lore as a truth of Greek mythology
