How do you determine whether that headline about the pope is real?
@pedrogabwriter gives a simple, practical approach to dealing with fake news about Pope Leo and misleading narratives online.

@BishopBarron @DavidHenrie There was a compelling young voice in Minneapolis who was killed for helping a stranger who was being treated inhumanely. He defended her human dignity and it was to be his final act in life — a Good Samaritan, not a Hollywood actor. Any praise for Alex, your excellency?
English

Friends, among the most compelling young voices in Hollywood today is actor and filmmaker @DavidHenrie—a man of deep Catholic faith.
I recently sat down with David for the newest episode of Bishop Barron Presents, which will premiere on Thursday, March 26.

“Peruvian Indigenous" is the preferred, respectful term, "Indian" is sometimes used but can be considered disparaging.”

@VeritasLucia Money wasted to destroy instead of using it to build up caring for one another and our earth.
English

@FrUgochukwu So sad that the Holy Land has been hijacked by the evil powers of war during our Lord’s passion and death, but we remain an Easter people because we know the Truth.

BREAKING: Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, announces major changes to Holy Week celebrations in the Holy Land amid the war. Palm Sunday procession canceled, Chrism Mass postponed, faithful urged to remain united in prayer and hope.
Let's continue to pray for peace🙏🏿

@VeritasLucia Love begets love and is more powerful than any weapons of mass destruction.

@cathfav ..the only interest we all have through our prayer is love, compassion, mercy and peace for our brothers and sisters.
No money, ego or power or anything else that destroys.
Solely love of God and all His creation.

@VeritasLucia We are all begging, along with Pope Leo, for the love of God and our brothers and sisters. . .
English

@cathfav It truly is. And as you say the feeling of helplessness is distressing.
God hears our prayers of love, mercy and peace. Even though sometimes we may feel He doesn’t or we don’t understand when or how. Pope Leo is begging, we all beg for the love of our brothers and sisters…
English

@VeritasLucia Understandably, seeing all the suffering people and the destruction of their country affects us deeply and is a deep wound in a caring heart. The feeling of helplessness is very distressing as is the fact Pope Leo is begging them to stop and they won’t listen to him.

@cathfav It was just a sister and myself behind closed doors❤️

@VeritasLucia Was it a special Mass intention taking place at Santa Maria Maggiore to pray for peace and end to the war?
English

@cathfav This was in Santa Maria Maggiore at night.
The emotion was so, that I didn’t think that I was able to sing one note.
God is most with us at our most fragile.
❤️❤️❤️
English

@VeritasLucia Yes, God is with us and speaks to us directly or through others at our most fragile.

This is a typical example of when a shepherd smells like the sheep.
This is Bishop Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala, the Catholic Bishop of Tombura-Yambio Diocese in South Sudan. He uses the bicycle to reach out to his flock who live in the rural areas.
See the joy in the face of that differently abled man❤️
May God bless him and all missionaries who work in rural areas 🙏🏿
English

@FrUgochukwu God bless Bishop Eduardo, a shepherd, lovingly and compassionately reaching out to the marginalized, as Pope Francis lived and taught as well as Pope Leo.

One year ago, on March 23, 2025, Pope Francis made his first public appearance in over a month, greeting the faithful and offering an apostolic blessing from his window at Gemelli Hospital. Though visibly frail, his gesture radiated deep love for the Church. Less than a month later, he entered eternal life.
