@Divyesh63 @JamesCopnall Your porridge looks delicious and it’s must be really nutritious with all those amazing ingredients. I’ve started adding flaxseeds to my overnight oats too. Today’s had chia seeds, cinnamon, strawberries and of course blueberries 🤣🤣🤣

Alan, thank you. What a lovely time it was to catch up & reflect on the past decade and a bit. You left a mark on your programmes and more importantly with audiences. You never forgot who you were really there to serve. We will miss you. But this is only see you later from me
Alan Kasujja@kasujja

A couple of weeks before moving to London in 2012, I sat down with @cathkemi at Big Mikes (Is it Aura now?) in Kololo, Kampala. Her very thorough briefing on life at the BBC has been very important for me. She’s flying the Ugandan flag 🇺🇬 very high and I’m very proud of her. My time at the BBC is up. What better way to end it than another conversation with a dear friend and compatriot. Sharing war stories and breaking bread as we reflect on our journeys.

Just heard an interview with the wife of @bonifacemwangi on @BBCWorldservice. She told @cathkemi she no idea where he is. Agather Atuhaire is also missing.
CPJ Africa@CPJAfrica

CPJ is alarmed by the detention in Tanzania of journalists and activists Boniface Mwangi and Agather Atuhaire and calls on authorities to account for their whereabouts and wellbeing, and to release them immediately. @AAgather, who is Ugandan, and @bonifacemwangi, who is Kenyan, were arrested on May 19 after traveling to Tanzania to observe the trial of opposition politician @TunduALissu.

Terrible scenes in Uganda today - the brutal attack and detention of journalists by security forces as they reported on a by-election. One of the worst incidents of this kind I can remember. There’s real concern about our colleagues’ safety ahead of elections early next year.
Daily Monitor@DailyMonitor

WATCH: NMG-U journalists Abubaker Lubowa, Denis Kabugo, and Raymond Tamale have been released, limping and visibly injured. Some of their personal belongings were stolen or destroyed by security operatives who brutally arrested them in Kawempe North during Kawempe North by-election. #MonitorUpdates #KawempeByElection
