The lawyer was not let in again. We don’t know anything about Vladimir since July 2nd when he was last seen by the lawyer. On July 4th we were told that Vladimir had been transferred to the prison hospital on the same day. Since then, the lawyers have been denied access to him

@GMB @SwainITV This is wildly hyperbolic. The exit polls showed 13 Reform MPs - they only got four. Meanwhile ... the Greens exceeded expectations and also have four MPs. Imagine if the media was equitable to both parties; I'm certain the Greens would be higher.

Freedom of movement was a precious gift - to work and travel and live and love in 27 other countries - we should be expanding the opportunity of people here to benefit from it not competing to rule out its return #BBCDebate

I have to say that I am struggling with this notion of a super-majority. I was brought up to believe that a 52:48 ratio gives the winning side free rein.

Labour landslide will be much harder to achieve than in 1997 ⁦Starmer⁩ shouldn’t try to ape Blair’s electoral strategy - the situation today is far different People want clear change from Tory ‘policies’, not more of the same, but a bit less Tory theguardian.com/politics/2024/…

Today is the second anniversary of Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe's release and return home from Iran. As well as marking this happy event, this article profiles some of the thousands of women wrongfully imprisoned around the world. #FreeThemAll metro.co.uk/2024/03/16/two… via @MetroUK

Last night at @BAFTA premiere of BREATHTAKING, we were so honoured to have @MichaelRosenYes introduce the screening by reading his glorious tribute to the NHS, his poem “These Are the Hands”. And then something completely unexpected and wonderful happened. 1/3

From Texas to Ukraine, from Middle East to Africa, we are facing the geopolitical game played by the old KGB playbook—and again and again, the Western democracies are blind to it. Insanity is repeating the same action and expect a different result… Thread on hybrid war 1/xx

Shocked to see the no. of folk arguing junior doctors should "just retrain if they don't like it".Well yes, they could do many other more 'profitable' jobs than look after us when we need it most, but how then,do we entice ANYONE into a job so challenging yet so poorly remunerated?

I am a literal doctor that also has a first class honours degree in pharmacology and my husband STILL continues to buy branded medications like panadol and nurofen despite my very strong insistence that it’s a waste of money. Cba.

@tompeck Also remember those that went to work in the EU and married there when we belonged and now cannot return to the U.K. with their families. In 2002 who thought Brexit was a thing?
