Do any Western media outlets feel any responsibility anymore to the public? @Reuters merely reposts a regime propaganda video knowing full well that these poor women were threatened and their families abused to force them from asylum. We all know they will suffer serious repercussions when the cameras are turned off. Who are the people working at this news agency that make these editorial choices?

I recently heard a recorded outgoing message from a prison in Iran where the prisoner said something along the lines of, “I don’t think the U.S. will kill us, but if they don’t you can be sure the Islamic Republic will.”

News has reached us from Evin Prison in Tehran, Lakan Prison in Rasht, and Dastgerd Prison in Isfahan indicating that the situation of prisoners is extremely dire and horrifying. Prisoners are facing severe shortages of food and basic hygiene supplies. Prison authorities have abandoned their duties, handing over control of the prisons to repressive forces. Phone lines have been cut off. Visits are being canceled, and under this silence and lack of information, dozens of prisoners are reportedly being transferred daily to solitary confinement prior to execution. #IranRevolution2026‌

Reminder that even during this war, Melika Azizi is on track to be hanged. She was charged with being an "enemy of islam" for protesting in January. She was beaten in the courtroom. The islamic regime is actively executing people even right now, because murder is all they know.

An important piece in @thetimes today highlights the escalating threats against me and other Iranian pro-democracy campaigners. For nearly four years I have protested outside the Foreign Office, calling for the proscription of the IRGC. The situation is now becoming more dangerous for all who speak out. The recent killing of Masood Masjoody, a board member of Iran Front, whose remains were discovered not long ago, is a stark reminder of what is at stake. This is a warning that the reach of the Iranian regime extends far beyond its borders. As Lord McCabe has said, “Iran’s brutal regime is a threat to global peace and security,” and the time has come to take decisive action against its activities. Jack Rankin MP has also warned that these threats “must be treated with the utmost seriousness,” especially in light of recent events. And as Omid Djalili rightly put it, “Death threats should not be tolerated in any society that upholds justice,” underscoring the urgent need for full protection of those who speak out. The family of an imprisoned Iranian #Christian convert who was due for release prior to the war are concerned for her safety, having not heard from her since the conflict began nearly three weeks ago. #Simin_Soheilinia, who will celebrate her 48th birthday on Saturday, is serving a 10-year sentence in Tehran’s Evin Prison on charges of “acting against national security by establishing and leading an illegal Christian house-church”. Simin’s sentence was recently reduced to three years and six months, after which it was agreed that she could serve the remainder of her sentence outside prison, with an electronic tag.  But then the conflict began, and all contact with Simin was lost, as has been the case for other prisoners of conscience.
