@JonathanGwood Tasmania's Labor party is doing what it promised. They it would not do deals with other parties which resulted in broken promises. The libs will have first crack and don't count on a happy ending with that. Besides, I don't think Labor has earned the right to govern anyway

Tasmanian Labor's 'Permanent Opposition' strategy is interesting. They haven't polled over 33% in 15 years - banking everything on an outright majority (so they don't need the Greens) is courageous #politas #TasmaniaVotes

@FierceDinosaur You're right, they will need some of the other MPs (called MHAs). But they probably won't need the Greens. The others - Jacqui Lambie Network, possibly two progressive independents - may be enough

For once I agree with Eric Abetz. The Liberal policy to have a crack at the Lambie Party as they did gave them more credibility than they clearly deserve. Almost fatal error. #Politas #Tasvotes

The Tasmanian election result is clear as mud. The Liberals have claimed victory but have to forge an awkward coalition with a hostile Jacqui Lambie Network and possibly others. Still an outside chance it will be a Labor - Green government #politas #tasvotes
