@dublinbusnews there hasn't been a single bus at stop 4542 for about half an hour now but multiple out if service busses have driven by

@CuteCatriona I say this all the time! Wired ones were cheap, easy to buy anywhere and didn't need to be charged so people could always use them or buy a new pair if needed. It suits companies for us to have to buy more expensive wireless headphones that break every few years though.

@dalekmad I don't think so. She's in a very unrelatable position and situation.

@CuteCatriona The weather hasn't been as bad in the west of Germany but in my city night busses start at 9pm and are very infrequent and whenever I get a regional train I expect to arrive at least 20 minutes later than scheduled. The only positive is it's much cheaper here than Ireland.

I think it's better to have a narrow definition of quality (e.g., pilling, losing shape) than characteristic (e.g., thickness, dimensionality in cables, etc). This way, you know what to shop for. Here are two Arans: one vintage, one new. Both are high-quality.

A lot of what I've read about sweater quality here conflates "characteristic" with "quality." For example, dimensions such as thickness are mistaken for quality. This is like saying green apples are inherently better than red apples (or vice versa, if you prefer). 🧵

@Ciarabelles I flew into there once and it was great. You're already in London and don't need to get another long, expensive train after your flight.

I haven’t painted anything in MONTHS and I’ve been struggling to get back into a flow so I set a timer for 1 hour and decided to do what I could for the current challenge. It’s kinda awful tbh but it was also a lot of fun! #artclubie #barbie
