Went into @Apple Sydney store today to buy a cover for my iPad. Approached one of the team to pay, only to be told the wait for processing a payment would be 45min-1hr. I really don’t get it. I didn’t wait.

We presented awards, we sang, we celebrated @WyndhamCollege Year 12 Graduation. A joyous occasion for our whole community. I feel privileged & proud to have joined Wyndham College and the Nirimba Collegiate team this year.

@cazlup @JandgmoonMoon @Anncaro11 @AGavrielatos @henryrajendra 16 out of the 20 executive members (up to the level of vice pres) are school/TAFE based so are paid by the Dept. The 4 senior officers' work for the union and their pay is linked to promotions scale - gen sec and pres are paid PH1.

@cazlup @Anncaro11 @AGavrielatos @henryrajendra No mystery. There are over 100 people work for Federation. They are both elected officers and employees. Officers, who are elected by State Council, their pay is linked to school teachers’ pay. Employees have an EBA. Huge organisation with many costs to support teacher members.

@avril_lupton @Qantas C’mon @Qantas. This young woman is only seeking what is rightfully owed to her. She shouldn’t have to try so many different/difficult avenues. Hours on the phone, multiple emails, and now has to resort to social media. Show some heart.

@Qantas has a seemingly impossible flight credit redemption system. Am I just daft, or is it thousands of others with over $800 million in unused flight credits? Appears as though its purposefully difficult, for the benefit of Qantas alone. Funny that. #notthespiritofaustralia
