Senior officials have resigned and arrests have happened. So Kenyans are right to ask who exactly is spreading disinformation here? The public asking questions, or the system that let a fake crisis grow inside the petroleum chain and is now lecturing everyone else about calmness and confidence? Wandayi should spare Kenyans the sanctimony. He is not some clean outsider flown in to audit the wreckage! He is the Energy CS. If almost everybody around the scandal is falling, then the man at the top of the docket cannot keep behaving like the host of a press briefing about other people’s sins.
