I believe there are people who were left behind with every step of evolution when it came to gaming, there are some people who were screaming that game STREAMING was the future and that it was about to change gaming with GamePass as the Netflix of gaming, but that failed, however digital is the way forward because it’s something a lot more tangible than a simple streaming signal to your device!!. You can save digital downloads on SSD cards where you can keep all your games!

Fans who "prefer" the digimon movie dub are like fans who prefer dubbed pokemon and dubbed yugioh ie they only really like it as a fond part of their childhood which is FINE who cares! They are not worth arguing with! They just like a cartoon they watched a lot as a kid!

Im just arguing that the analogy was incorrect.

@cbeaird52 @GoghostBD Sorry to buttin but theres a missing piece here, the original lines up with the animation, the guitar riff with the digivice light, the digital sounds with the digimoji and everything swells with the data rain.
The original lines up perfectly in a vacuum its better suited

A new report claims PlayStation could be using social media bots to defend its decision to stop making physical game discs. According to Moore’s Law Is Dead, AI was used to analyze accounts posting in support of PlayStation’s digital-only future. The report says many of those accounts looked suspicious, with recent creation dates, AI-generated profile pictures, and very similar posting patterns.

Ok I’m gonna fight this because honestly only Hurricane Touchdown was actually butchered. The other two movies are honestly not that badly dubbed. The redubs are of course way better but I really think Hurricane Touchdown was completely unrecognizable in the original dub.

USA Digimon fans saying they prefer the butchered version of this scene don't deserve rights. The entire original short film is perfectly timed to Ravel's Bolero, that's part of what makes it so good

I think the more offensive bit is people defending a 3rd party editing, recutting, and taking out the music when it's one of the most disrespectful things you can do to art.
Not even like it's hard to translate those music which are western classical music to a western audience

I've seen people defend this over and over.
I've maintained Vision doesn't have a soul.
They say that it's no different from an elevator lifting the hammer.
Also, he didn't get the *power* of Thor like Cap or Jane did.
But THAT.....was not the point of THIS SCENE.
The POINT was to convince the other Avengers that Vision was trustworthy. That's why they all stood there in shock and silence when he did it.
So you can't have it both ways.

there is a massive difference between defending and accepting.
and physical crowd needs to realize that we accept the tradeoffs for convenience. it's shitty your preferred media is falling off though, so there is that.

@cbeaird52 I get where you're coming from, if you own - you have access. they're on the same ladder, I just don't feel the need to climb up beyond access, which is why I say I don't care about ownership.
and more specifically, in my context owning physical doesn't give benefits.

notice how the ladder doesn't actually need to go beyond access though? that's a good sign that the person truly doesn't care about ownership.

@cbeaird52 not exactly. consider Spotify or Apple Music or even YouTube. those are examples of access, I care to be able to listen to music.
if I cared about ownership I would be buying albums (even digitally off iTunes), but I don't even go that far because I have access.

People want physical Media because they want access that comes with ownership. They want security that they control when a thing goes away.
Saying you do not care about ownership, but you want access is an opinion about ownership.
