Richard A. Jones was picked out of a lineup of potential robbers 20 years ago.
He was 25 at the time and had two daughters.
The problem? He didn’t commit the crime.
Incredibly, he met a man in prison who was nearly identical in appearance to him and also had the same first name. Inmates kept confusing the two for each other.

It turned out Amos was the one who actually committed the robberies. Richard spent 19 years behind bars for a crime he didn’t commit.

The #Bears have been lobbying for draft pick compensation following the hire of Ian Cunningham as #Falcons GM. Today, the NFL responded stating there will be no picks coming: “The matter is now closed following the club’s appeal. The NFL informed the Bears today they will not receive compensatory picks. The policy is designed to provide picks for the Primary Football Executive position. The League determined Mr. Cunningham did not fill that role with the Falcons as it is defined in League rules.”

It’s only April. Wait until the end of June when Brandon Aiyuk is still on the 49ers and their fans are yelling “just give them a 6th round pick so we can have BA for training camp!”
Why let BA have a training camp with the Commanders when we see them in 2026— especially if it’s early in the season? No need to let them build chemistry until the season is starting up
If you cannot get something for him during the draft or if there’s no WR needy teams during TC who will offer anything, release him at the very end of August

@GBraggsJr23 They should file to block Cunningham from that role as well. If that's a lateral move, then they should try and pull him back from ATL just ahead of the draft. Unless ATL wants to trade their 2nd Round pick to keep him.

Another fascinating insight the Falcons told me (will have more on this later): this whole thing started because of how illegible the numbers were
They have multiple broadcast clips of announcers confusing the numbers, specifically the 1’s & 7’s
So in April 2023, they had their first on-the-record chat about this issue and that convo paired with the NFL’s 5-year rule of no uniform changes led to the eventual overhaul

@markmccaski11 @callen0013 I feel that way abiut every anti-ABS take. Theyre all some variation of "wont someone think of the umpires?!". I dont get it. Their only role is to ensure the actual competing teams have a fair opportunity. This tool helps with that. The end.

I despise the new ABS system in the MLB. You’re asking umpires to call a pitch going 95-100 w/spin/movement in a split second and then a batter or catcher can tappytap their helmet and let a computer determine ball or strike by a fraction on an inch. BS

Theres 0 league can do to stop them from working out together (like Luke did with his brother and Bijan last summer). I cant imagine theres any way to police HOW they work out together, or what they discuss.
