@adam_voigt As a recently retired public school principal, I concur with you Adam about what would have been the stronger response. Expelling the boys means taking no responsibility… flicking them no doubt to a public school to deal with, says it all!

I always take the advice from people who begin it with an insult. Don’t you? Subscribe to The Guardian, people. It’s inexpensive, interesting and intelligent. In fact, this is so unusual in mainstream media these days, it is unsettling to many.
