2/ This decision also means that the data protection authorities now may enforce the #GDPR vis-á-vis the public registers that do not turn off the public access. Even where national law still mandates such public access, as the GDPR preempts such national law. #privacy #AML

Another interesting decision from @DPCIreland bit.ly/3RDln8i Key finding here: The Controller had good detective and reactive controls and was managing the risk. This was considered an appropriate organisational control.
