LOL. Poilievre sounds like he’s been cramming Hayek or Ayn Rand before every speech. I’ll admit I bought it at first because it's refreshing to hear that language in a heavily socialized country. But then you look at the actual stuff he defends like protecting dairy cartels, managing labour supply, doubling down on socialized healthcare, taking swings at the Bank of Canada (maybe some of it was justified), tit-for-tat tariffs, and you realize it’s anything but free market doctrine.
Still amusing to watch his influencer ecosystem get all excited and giddy about it like they're 16 and just picked up their first copy of Rand, von Mises, etc.

When you have a majority government, you use your majority MPs to have a majority of the committee presence.
That's the entire purpose of a majority. To use the majority to more effectively and efficiently govern. Both in committee and voting in the HoC.
If Poilievre had a majority, he'd do just this. I'd expect him to and would understand why...

Breaking news tonight: the Liberals are already moving to use their new backdoor “majority” to stack parliamentary committees with Liberal MPs - limiting Parliament’s oversight powers and laying the groundwork to ram through their agenda (and who knows what else) on Canadians. The Liberals love their lofty rhetoric about compromise, the defence of institutions and bringing people together. But at the end of the day, the only real principle this party knows is power - power at all costs, power as an end in itself. And they won’t let something as pesky as an election result get in the way.

The Prime Minister’s video is another illusion.
He says he wants a permanent rupture with our biggest customer while he keeps 90% of his personal investments in the U.S.
He has doubled the deficit, negotiated no new free trade deals with any other country, approved no pipelines, and given Canada the worst food inflation, the worst household debt, the worst housing costs, and the only shrinking economy in the G7.
Fear is not a plan. We must reverse Liberal taxes, deficits, and anti-resource laws so we can be affordable, safe, and strong at home.
