My Disney pitch: Leave Fantasy Land to the families. Kids or adults accompanying kids only. Space Mountain, Pirates, etc? Sure. But do you, a 45 year old hanging out at the park with no kids REALLY need to ride Dumbo? Also, make Fast Passes for families only. It's a park for kids, let the kids go to the front of the lines.

Hedman did not have to put this statement out. It's going to create controversy and negative opinions. That's why it's so important that he did. Yeah they make millions - but being a professional athlete is hard. The constant judgment from other people is one thing, but the constant pursuit of being great is even harder. Other people's expectations do not even come close to comparing to how hard these players are on themselves. And when these types of high achievers get older, it's not just trying to be the best player they can be. It's striving to be the best husband, dad, friend etc they can be on top of that. That load can be exhausting. You can't be of service to others without taking care of yourself first. If you're the best you can be, you'll be able to lead way better than if you're mentally and emotionally not at where you want to be. This post will no doubt get other people who want to achieve big things to be more willing to ask for help. That in itself makes it powerful and impactful.

@wyshynski From the side of the ice the official that made the call I can see how he might have made the judgement call it wasn’t icing. What else is he supposed to do but make a judgement call? Hybrid icing is all judgement

Just realized I didn't add my two cents here. The Ducks got absolutely jobbed, on the one time a linesman decided to make a judgment call on a race for the puck on an icing (in the third period, of a tied playoff game no less).

@BostonConnr they said the ref made a judgement call that IF the play has continued the knights wouldve won the race to the puck obviously not the correct call and unfortunately it was the direct reason why they scored the game winner

My oldest kid never played tackle football until 9th grade. He played rec league flag football in the city. We spent about $70 per season, plus cleats. He was All CIF, All League, Team Captain and team's most valuable offensive player twice, as a lineman. 150 kids in the program.

Apparently it’s a hot take on here but I don’t get the Savannah bananas hate. It’s obviously fun, people enjoy it, it’s not like it’s trying to rip off baseball, it’s never claimed that. Simply a fun thing to do, like the globetrotters.
